Deep Positioning Diagnosis · The applicant's position across 44 schools, laid out

Based on 8 recent admit cycles + 13-axis scoring + this season's admissions policy + competitive density in Chinese-American clusters. A complete read on direction. We don't fabricate admit probabilities — only three-tier classification (reach / match / safety) plus the reasoning behind each call. Every judgment traces to a source.

METHODOLOGY

How the three tiers are derived

Identity read

6 identity dimensions (ethnicity, high school type, curriculum system, recommender progress, etc.) read together and mapped to the actual competitive cohort.

13-axis scoring

GPA, standardized tests, AP/IB, EC, awards, essays — 13 axes scored independently, each with a data citation.

Same-cohort sample matching

We pull same-identity, same-band samples from 8 recent admit cycles, so you can see where you sit on the P15-P85 distribution.

4-axis gap analysis

Against each target school's published thresholds, we surface the largest gap (academics / soft factors / essay direction / time window) and pair it with a concrete action plan.

DELIVERABLE · What you get

PDF report sections preview

Every section is generated from the applicant's real inputs. Every judgment cites data source + algorithm version + data timestamp.

Identity read

  • 6-axis identity profile: ethnicity, high school type, curriculum system, recommender progress.
  • Local applicant density assessment (Chinese-American clusters calculated separately).
  • Real impact of identity on admissions (neither inflated nor ignored).

Three-tier school list

  • Reach / match / safety classification for each school.
  • Each school comes with the specific reason it landed in this tier.
  • We don't give admit probabilities (those are made up) — only three-tier classification.

4-axis gap analysis

  • Academics: GPA / standardized tests / AP-IB / course depth.
  • Soft factors: EC mix / awards / recommendations.
  • Essays: direction selection / angle distinctiveness / fit with admissions perspective.
  • Time window: what's still buildable in 12-18 months / what's already too late to fix.

12-18 month action plan

  • Month-by-month breakdown: what to do, what to skip.
  • Key milestone reminders (test dates, EC deadlines, recommender conversations).
  • Risk warnings (which gap, if unfilled, may force a tier downgrade).

Decision recommendations

  • Whether the current direction is worth holding / which expectations need adjusting.
  • ED / EA / RD pacing recommendations (we don't decide for you, we give you a decision frame).
  • How to use this report for ongoing family debriefs.
WORKFLOW

From submit to PDF in hand

Step 1

Fill the positioning form (about 10 minutes)

Profile, curriculum system, recommender progress, standardized test status, EC summary, target schools. The form adapts to your earlier answers (e.g. choosing IB skips AP-count questions).

Step 2

Stripe one-time payment $49

Credit or debit card. Generation begins immediately on payment — no queue, no manual review step.

Step 3

Kaiso runs the report (about 5 minutes)

Kaiso generates 5 sections, self-checks for missing data and contradictory classifications, then hands it to you.

Step 4

Email full PDF

Full PDF emailed to you, also readable in your account. Archived permanently — the family can revisit it anytime.

HOW TO USE

How to use the PDF

Week 1 · Family reads it together

Read all 5 sections together. If the family is split on direction, start with Identity Read + 4-axis Gap to align on the data first.

Week 2-4 · Execute the monthly action plan

Pick this month's 3-5 priority items and start. Don't try to tackle everything at once — the 12-18 month plan is staged on purpose.

Milestone review

Re-read the report every 2-3 months to compare actual progress against the plan. If you're more than 30% off, that's the signal to recalibrate direction.

Don't copy other applicants in the same tier

Same tier doesn't mean same path. Same-cohort samples in the report are reference quantiles — concrete actions follow your own 4-axis gaps.

FAQ

Anything you'd want to ask before paying

Q · Is $49 a flat price?+

Yes. One-time $49, no renewals, no hidden fees. The report is permanently archived in your account, the family can revisit anytime. If you later want long-term tracking, the long-term subscription is sold separately (early bird $9/month, locked for life).

Q · How long is the PDF?+

Typically 12-18 pages. Each section expands based on your real data — Identity Read and 4-axis Gap are the longest two. The point isn't page count, it's that every paragraph shows the reasoning behind it.

Q · International student / transfer / US high school — does it apply?+

Yes. The 13-axis scoring auto-detects identity (international division / US high school / US transfer). Three-tier classification draws from the corresponding identity's real admit pool.

Q · Can I get a refund?+

Once the report is generated, no refund. But if generation fails (model didn't output / validation didn't pass), full refund. See refund policy.
